Are you referring to those on CDNN's website? Why don't you buy one and try it and give us a report?

At the last gun show I went to, I bought two to try (one normal and one 31 round) and they work fine. I don't carry them (I have enough OEM mags for that) but so far no troubles at the range. I don't know how they will hold up over time but at their price point they seem like good range mags.

I bought 5 of the KCI mags for use at the range (OEMs for carry) and never had any issues with them so far though I've not shot them extensively.

Bought one of the 30-round .40 mags and have three mag fulls thru it with no problems. I keep it loaded with some cheap HPs "just in case" I use all 39 rounds in my three factory mags.

I think I took them in trade for something, can't remember. What I meant by "cheap " is they are the generic Remington HPs, not the top flight stuff like Golden Saber, Gold Dot, Hydra Shok etc.

I've bought 2 and have been using them at the range for the last several months. Based on that limited experience:
  • Appear to be lighter and "thinner", i.e. less material used in their construction.
Impossible to get 17 rounds into one. Best I can do so far is 16 and that takes effort.
They swell slightly when fully loaded. It's not visible to me and they don't hang up in the magazine well of my G19 but they have gotten stuck several times in my magazine pouches.
In my opinion, they are fine for the range and dry fire practice but wouldn't use for concealed carry.
