You set it in the garage when you hit the garage door opener button? I am always leaving stuff because of that button. Last summer I set a 13lb New York strip section down and forgot it for almost 30 minutes. It didn't spoil, thank God. It was a 85 dollar hunk of meat.

Being the sometimes lazy male type who avoids the store at all cost (Um, sure honey, I'll go) I probably would have failed to properly seperate the groceries from what ever else might have been in those same bags (like ammo). It's probably in the freezer with the ice cream in the bag.
In fact I just found a box in there I'd forgotten about!

I'd ask my wife. If she doesn't know where something is, it's probably never going to be seen again, and I should go to Wal-Mart and replace said ammo as soon as possible.

I always lay stuff on my work bench in the garage until it stacks up and I have to clean it because I'm doing some reloading or something on the work bench. Then I have a haul of all my ammo and stuff to the safe closet.

I buy stuff from Home Depot, and then like a month later, I find it on the work bench and go, "that's where you left it you big dummy." I swear I wasn't like that before having kids.

I found a box in my cleaning kit the other day, it felt like it was my birthday!

I always love finding ammo that I don't recall buying... it's like free ammo!

If I had just bought it and it was 380 I would have polished it and stored it in a bank vault!

9mm would be in the 9mm hiding place.

45 in the bigger 45 ammo hiding place.

22 would be laid around everywhere like the darn circulars in the mail.

Well, ammo does have a habit of sneaking out that little hole at the front whenever it gets a chance.
