Just ran across Buffalo Bore .380+P on the net. Was just wondering if anyone has used this stuff? If so how is the reliability? Recoil? Accuracy?
Thanks for any input,

If guns kill people, then pencils misspell words.

Re: Buffalo Bore .380+P??
My son used it in his LCP before it broke and had to go back to Ruger. It did have one heck of a recoil. That stuff is definitely a hot load. It seemed a little less rabid in his P380...just before it broke and had to go back to Kahr. Hmmmm...is there a pattern here??? LOL...actually neither failure was caused by the hot ammo. The LCP was just junk and something internal broke...actually...came apart. The Kahr had failure to feed issues. Back on topic...yes, it is a very hot load.LongHairedRedneck wrote:Just ran across Buffalo Bore .380+P on the net. Was just wondering if anyone has used this stuff? If so how is the reliability? Re: Buffalo Bore .380+P??
The LCP manual says that it is not approved for +P ammunition.
I've run 100 rounds+ now of CorBon .380 which is not +P through one of my LCP without any problems.
Follow the manual, and you'll be fine.

Interesting. I may have missed it, but I had one of the first rounds of LCP's and I don't think it had the +P warning. Maybe it was added later.chamberc wrote:The LCP manual says that it is not approved for +P ammunition.

That's definitely possible, I got both of mine in September 08 for which I was on the waiting list for in Longview and mine had the warning by then. Can't attest to it being there before that time.03Lightningrocks wrote:Interesting. I may have missed it, but I had one of the first rounds of LCP's and I don't think it had the +P warning.
