clean little bugger, ain't it?

I supposed the purists are going to shame me for considering a few mod's, but I bought it as a shooter.

So be it. :)

That is one good looking gun! Always wanted one of those's.

I admittedly know very little about modded 1911's, but other than the grip spur and maybe the safety, what are you going to do it?

I think you should leave it alone, but I guess you could call me a purist. ;-)

thanks

I'm going to shoot it first.

Might just leave it bone stock.

Other than that, not much planned. Maybe sights and an extended safety, trigger job.

Can't wait to smoke it up.

Dont know about others but I consider myself a 1911 PD Purist.
Defined as. Best Carry if ANY WAY possible. For PD that means I want every advantage I can get.

Am not a War antique collector so the original sites, stock thumb safety, & biting hammer dont ring my bell.

Coarse then there are some Ed Brown & WC owners that consider my Springer Champion totally unreliable until I replace all the MIM parts w/ UUUUUhhhh Ed Brown or WC parts. :leaving

I've often read about the "biting safety". Exactly what gets pinched and why?

oops...should'a known the Box'o'Truth would explain it perfectly.
