The decision has been made!...wife's new gun!

Post by Kevinf2349 »

All the votes are in, white smoke is bellowing out of the papal chimney and the latest addition to the firearm stable is safely home.

We toyed with a Kel-Tec P-11, dabbled with the NAA Guardian, yearned for the Glock 26 but the eventual winner is............

Image

The Ruger LCP.

The good lady likes how it fits into her hand and how easily it is concealed. The 380 part is the biggest worry in these days of the 380 famine, but we already have a stockpile for the Bersa and so we went ahead and bought it this evening.

She loved the Glock 26 but she already carries a Glock 19 and the Glock 26 isn't that much smaller. She considered the Taurus 709 but again the size was the issue, so she plumped for the Ruger.

At least the search is over......for now! "rlol" "rlol" :fire

That's an awfully nice little gun. Congrats on the newest addition to the arsenal!

Thanks Joe & TLynnHughes

It is a little too tiny for my long fingers to wrap around, but the good lady likes it, so the good lady allowed me to buy it! "rlol" "rlol"

Since it's your wife's gun, does LCP stand for "Lady's Compact Pistol"?

Congrats on the new member of the family! I, too, bought an LCP last spring for pocket carry. The wife just received her CHL and I believe she has adopted the LCP for purse carry.

Like the OP mentioned, "the search is over...for now." Until I (we) need another.... :txflag:

Kewl!!! We have a pair in our house...

One is my wife's EDC and I have one for pocket carry. Both have the Crimson Trace lasers and they work well. Several hundred rounds down range without a failure.

Congrats, and good choice. I've put over 600 flawless rounds through my LCP with a Crimson Trace laser. My wife doesn't like the kick and is quite satisfied with her Bersa Thunder (another awesome gun). She calls my LCP a "Little Cute Pistol", I hate that!!
