are hi cap handgun mags legal again? I see so many of them for sale and they even come with new guns. What happened to the 10 round limit?

yes for the time being they are legal, Komrade Klinton's gun ban sunset during W's presidency and wasn't renewed by congress because W told them he'd veto it. Keep a wary eye on the Obamanator and his lackeys they want it back.

Yes, should be more like 'standard capacity magazines' or 'non-neutered capacity magazines'

If you want a 'high capacity' magazine, look at drum mags

:iagree:

Perfect example, a 13-round mag for my Glock 23 is a "standard capacity" or "normal capacity" mag. The 30-round Korean knock-off I bought at a gunshow (which functions well, btw) is a "high capacity" mag because it is a larger capacity than what the gun was originally designed for. The 30-rounder on Glock 17 9mm, however, could be considered "normal" because it was original designed to hold this 30-round mag (which sells directly from Glock) and run on full auto like an Uzi.

Most 10-round double-stack mags are considered sub-capacity or sub-optimal capacity mags on guns larger than Baby Glocks.
