I recieved my license 53 days after they recieved my packet. actually i feel like the state did a very good job actingthat quickly considering they are granting us permission to carry a loaded firearm.

Should have mine tomorrow 12/21 or 12/22. DPS received it 11/27. Status changed to approved 12/17.

Even with the holiday delays, they are getting fast... I should get my plastic in time for Christmas!!!

I usually leave a bunch of tabs open in firefox and when I wake up in the morning I flip through and reload them all while I'm waiting for the coffee to finish up.
I think I ctrl+tab'ed past the DPS page three times before I realized it didn't say "Processing Application" any more.

35 days from receipt to complete in Harris County with an out of state juvie background check, thanksgiving, and christmas. I can live with that.
