

There are still a few really old timers out there that put their hand guns in a scabbard instead of a holster.

As near as I can tell, original usage for scabbard and sheath (yes, I know you didn't ask this one) was pretty much interchangeable and referred to anything designed to hold a weapon or tool (like an entrenching tool).longtooth wrote:![]()
