And my, my at the judicial conjecture some true believers can come up with based on incorrectly read SCOTUS dicta, which shouldn't be the basis for any rulings.

I can't find anything in the US Constitution that allows the US government to regulate the manufacture or ownership of machineguns, although they do have the power to regulate sales across state and US national borders.
