Kudos to Crimson Trace

Post by grumble »

Have a set of Crimson Trace laser grips on my Vertec 96. Went to clean the lens on the laser, and realized that dangit, a q-tip won't fit into the opening. Went to a number of Crimson Trace dealers looking for replacement swabs like the pair that had come in the original package. All I got from the dealers was a blank stare and a "huh? why don't you just use a q-tip".. as I said, q-tip won't fit, at least without unravelling much of the cotton first, and I don't want to be sticking a hard stick into the lens opening of a $300 laser and permanently damage it. so....

I fire off an e-mail to Crimson Trace customer service and ask where I can buy said swabs. Within 2 hours, I get an e-mail in return saying that they appreciate me being a customer, and they are sending me a "handful" of them, and if I ever need more, to just drop them another e-mail.

Service like that is hard to find these days. :thumbs2:

Strangely enough, I find many gun and gun realated companies give pretty good service, one of the few markets out there where I have a good expectation of at least decent service.
