NEW CROSSBREED HOLSTER

Post by hurst_guy »

Wow! :anamatedbanana , I received my holster in less than 2 weeks and all I can say is WOW!
I always wondered how to carry something larger than a P32 and be comfortable and concealed.
My wife loved the cherry lifesavers and for myself the holster is first rate. :thumbs2:

I bought one back in 2008, I went all out and got a horsehide SuperTuck Deluxe. The wife and I had moved to SoCal so the wife could complete an internship, and I was excited to be heading home to Texas. Anyway, with never wearing it, and then the excitement of the move I forgot I had bought it!
I just read your post and it reminded me I had one somewhere, I spent an hour searching and found it. I normally carry a Kahr PM40 in a Galco OWB, but I'm going to try this out with the gun it was bought for, my Springfield XD45 service. I love the XD, but the Kahr is easier to conceal.

Happy New Crossbreed Holster to you, and kinda Happy New Crossbreed Holster to me too.

I just got a Crossbreed Minituck for a Kahr PM9. I have been carrying using a Smart Carry, but wanted to try something different after reading the posts from other threads on this site. I got it in less than 2 weeks after ordering it. I got the horse hide because of recommendations about it being preferable for carry in humid climates.

I have used it for 2 days now trying to get use to it. I am still struggling making sure I keep it concealed while wearing a sweator or sweatshirt that is not tucked in. In fact I was visiting at my Mother-in-law today with my wife. My Mother-in-law commented on my carry. Luckily she was cool it about and I explained I was breaking in a new holster.

My first impressions are that I like this form of carry and the Crossbreed can be comfortable. :thumbs2: I think with more practice I can overcome the "keeping it concealed concern". I am still experimenting of what positon to use for the IWB carry. Right now I have been trying the appendix location carry.

Oh yeah the candy was a nice surprise. :anamatedbanana

I feel cheated, I didn't get any candy with my holster. Maybe he saw the Los Angeles address we had at that time and realized our life sucked enough "rlol"
