Thanking Service Members

Post by TLynnHughes »

I ran across this video this morning thanks to my SIL. Pretty awesome tribute to our service members. Thought I'd share. :patriot:

Thanks for the great video.

Whenever I see a service member in uniform anywhere,
I always say "Thank you for your service." Most seem taken
aback, but are appreciative.

Another chance to offer thanks is to look for any Texas license
plate which contains "DV" anywhere in the characters, accompanied
by "Disabled Veteran" on the bottom of the plate.

To these DV plate owners, I say "Thank you for your service to our
country." These men and women are not only veterans, they are
DISABLED veterans, so you know that they caught some lead in
some foreign land. Their vehicles are eligible to park in handicapped
spaces although they don't have the usual "wheelchair" prefix.
