I got me a Ka-Bar in the mail today

Post by marksiwel »

Got one for my Father last Christmas, ever since then, I've wanted one. I gave my Sog Knife to a Co-Worker as a going away gift, and when I ordered another one, the son of a gun just hopped into my amazon.com shopping cart, so I figured I might as well give him a good home.

Amazing how that just happens.

Speaking of "legally" carrying a fixed blade , I seem to remember people carrying Survival Knives after the Rambo movies came out. I don't know if the laws were different then or maybe those folks didn't know any better.

Anyway , that's a real beauty.
I have a nice dagger with leather sheath that I wouldn't mind carrying with me sometimes.

I've got a small collection of various knives and, yes, I would like to carry my full-size Ka-Bar... but I don't.

And from the Department of Redundancy Department, we have:

Sorry man, the devil made me do it. :evil2:

The Ka-Bar is a really good knife. Congratulations. I keep thinking I might get one, but I'm not sure why, except that they are really cool. My son gave me a Gerber LMF II Infantry Knife for Christmas 3 years ago, so I haven't felt like I had to get a Ka-Bar.

Oh believe me. I understand. I was referring to my own internal struggle. For the price of a Ka-Bar, which is actually very reasonably priced, you're getting off cheap. MY problem is lusting after very expensive rifles.

Plus, I had to make a redundancy joke about redundancy. :biggrinjester:
