This time we took the shotgun, the Henry and a collection of handguns. We had 3 lanes and we bought extra targets and the whole session only cost $13 (minus ammo of course)
The range was pretty quiet and we got three lanes next to each other. My wife stuck with shooting the G19 and the XD9 but she wasn't happy with her shooting. I am not sure why she was hitting the target but she wasn't happy with the grouping. I think she wants to have a 'tweaking' lesson with a lady shooter so I may need to research that. I would hate for her to get to where she doesn't enjoy the sport.
My daugther shot one shell out of the shotgun and that was enough for her!

I had a further 'plink' with the Henry and I love that rifle! It is so quiet that even a BB gun seems to make more noise, and that gun is so accurate it is scary.
I shot a few rounds through the G30 and that still is a gun that I would trust my life to. The Bersa 380 Thunder CC is a different story. I loaded the factory mag with 7 x 94 Gr FMJ and I had 4 FTFs! After we left the range I turned the Bersa in at the Arms Room for sending back to the manufacturer's gunsmith. Hopefully this will fix the FTF issue once and for all. I hate having a gun that I can't trust enough to risk my family's life with.
The shotgun had a few more shells pumped through it and it is proving to extremely accurate and dependable. I would definately recommend it as a HD weapon.
The Glocks and Springfields ran great and straight. The LCP was left unshot and the Bersa is still proving problematic (but should be back from the shop soon)
All told it was an informative and fun trip to the range and hopefully it will result in a functioning Bersa as a result, if not, the Bersa is gone!

All in all it was a good and worthwhile range visit.
