Mesquite Rodeo & Gun Show 1/30 - 1/31

Is this worth attending? Being new to the area, I've never been to a local gun show. I'm looking for an XD9 subcompact.. Any odds i'll find one there? I may have to go just to see. Anyone else going this weekend?

I think any gun show is worth attending, no matter what. It's an educational experience unto itself. I have no idea how big the show is, but I'd think there would be a lot of dealers there.

If you don't find the XD you're looking for, at least you can get a good idea of the price of guns in general.

My suggestion to you is go. And have fun!

I'm going to pass on the show this weekend simply because having something follow me home is simply not in the budget.

You should be able to find what you are looking for. XD's seem to be pretty popular. The bigger questing is can you find it at the right price. Gun shows don't always have the best deals. Just make sure you know what the price should be before you go.

Well put Dave! I totally agree! Know the real world, low ball price of a gun before you start shopping at a gun show.

There will most likely be several dealers with xd9sc for sale. I bought that gun at the Ft. Worth gun show about 3 weeks ago and really like it. I found 1 dealer with a price of $429, and I bought it. Other prices were generally $30 to $60 more. I think you should will find them at the Mesquite show for less than $499 for sure and probably in the $460 range. I really like mine. Best of luck.....
