And now the rest of the story
The wife thought she would have some fun and had the daughter hide it before we got home knowing I would make a beeline for the mail. I am always predictible and she prays upon that, it's cheap entertainment for her.
As predicted I went straight for the mail and much to my surprise, no CHL for the wife.
It was approved on the 28 so 3 mail days should have been good from Austin to Pearland.
I was ready to call DPS but they were closed. She and the kids( 4 girls, 6 if you include the 2 grandchildren)
were having a good laugh behind my back looking at my frustration,
I should have known somting was up since the wife was so calm and we had been talking about carry meathods for her all day( I introduced her to the Cornered Cat site) well I turned around preparing to put the chicken on the grill and she had it plastered to her forehead. We all had a good laugh. You have to love a wife with a sense of humer.
