Its a local LEO supply store, they sell just about everything you can think of for LEO's.

They have some restrictions on what they can sell to civilians, but can get some good deals on things.

Yeah last time they did one of these trade-in inventory "clearance" events I showed up about 45 minutes after opening and most of the great deals were gone. But a few good deals were still available. Guy just in front of me in line got a used S&W 686 .357 Mag 4-inch barrel for about $350.

Dont' really have anything in particular in mind, but if I see a nice old LEO wheel-gun there for that kind of price I'll probably pick one up.

How good a deal and what type? Last few times I've been in there, you could pick up a basically stock M4gery type for $800 or less. I think they had some used ones at last trade-in clearance that were WELL below retail, but they were for "nicer" guns with more do-dads attached.

You guys have to give us more advance notice of sales like this. I would have made a weekend out of it. Do some sightseeing around Austin. Chow down at Salt Lick. Hit the sale Monday morning. Home by mid-afternoon Monday. Back to work Tuesday.

Buddy of mine is picking up a G30SF (at my recommendation :))

Should be packed.

Subscribe to their Facebook page...they were notifying people via FB. It's the only way I ever find out about it.

I received their catalog a couple of weeks ago and it seemed that most guns they sell (new anyway) are not for civilian purchase. Am I wrong on this?

What they tell me in the store is no NEW Glock, Sig, or Springfield pistols. Anything else is fair game.
