TGO Austin Shoot, Lone Star today 10-1

If anyone is interested, a bunch of us from the family friendly, Texas Gun Owner Forum http://www.texasgunowners.com/forum/content/are going to be at (CHL forum member owned) Lone Star gun range http://www.ctxpta.com/id2.html in Lockhart this morning for a family friendly get together and shoot from 10-1, then head out and get some BBQ. There should be plenty of smiling faces and different guns to shoot, and everyone is welcome, Just look for the TGO flag when you get there. All are welcome.

Mrs. RiverRat and I are going and my sons are driving over from San Marcos, where they are going to Texas State . They are trying to do this regularly. Ought to be fun. We were going to take the grandkids, but daughter has plans, next time.

Work is a good thing, if you have a job . Helps keep you in ammo and 1911's.

I thought I might see if the gun show is going on at the south Austin ex-Target store was going on on the way back, too. I think it's supposed to be this weekend, too.
