Please Pray

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Christie is now completely bedfast, the paralysis has increased slightly in her hands and arms, and on top of everything else, she is suffering from a bladder infection and a sinus infection. Her pain is not under control as of yet. She is very weak and has trouble sleeping. Please continue to pray.

Ms. Christie is barely hanging on. All she can move now is her head and neck. Her children are very broken hearted and distraught. Her husband has asked that we ask the Lord if He is not going to heal her to please take her to heaven this week. Her husband is so torn watching his sweetheart living in agony. Thank you for all your prayers. This family means the world to me.

Lord we come to you and ask that you please heal Christie in the manner of your choosing. May your grace wash over her and her family and may their grief be assuaged by your mercy and love.

She and her family will continue to be in my prayers.

It is past 2:00AM and I have just came home from spending most of the night and early morning hours with our friends in prayer. Not much has changed for good with Ms. Christie since my last update. My heart is heavy, but I know her children and her dear husband is broken hearted. I will be glad when the devil gets paid back for all of his heart aches! Thank you again and I please ask for continued prayers.

I just received this email from my friend.
She is suffering so much intermittantly, wants to go to heaven. She hurt so bad tonight I stayed home with her. We called hospice. They came out and recommended she be admitted to their hospice house. She may end up at hospice tomorrow. If she does, I fear she'll never come home again. If I lose my Sweetheart to Heaven, I sure would prefer she leaves from our home, surrounded by our family. My heart is broken. She said she heard her mother calling her the other night. She has been in Heaven for 9-10 years. I'm sure glad that God loves my Sweetie, He knows best and is in control.
Thank You for the continued prayers.

Thanks Carl for the update. I was praying over her this morning on my way to work and was wondering how things were going. I will continue to pray for them.

Prayers for Christie for comfort in her final hours as she prepares to go to her eternal home. Will also pray for her family that they may have strength and solace knowing that soon she will have no more pain and suffering, and will be with her Mother and in the loving arms of our heavenly Father.

Just a quick note. The doctors say that Ms. Christie only has a couple of days or possibly just hours away from heaven. Praise the Lord for a wonderful place called heaven where we will all be joined together again!
