PocketHolsters.com - Great Product & Delivery for LCP!

Post by KahrGuy »

I ordered a Pocket Holster & Crimson Trace Laser from PocketHolseters.com late Monday evening, spent $2 higher premium for 2-3 Business Day Shipping, and wouldn't you know it, they were waiting for me in my mailbox Friday (yesterday)! :clapping: :thumbs2: While the price for holster seems a bit towards the high side ($55), the Crimson Trace Laser price ($159) was pretty much the lowest I could find of those not having additional taxes! Shipping price was reasonable ($11 for both) considering the 2-3 Business Day premium.

Link to Quick Demo on Drawing from holster is as follows:

I had already picked up a Blackhawk Size 3 holster earlier this week and it seems to have it's purposes (light, comfortable, and to the point). It also accomodates the Crimson Trace perfectly. However, in tighter pockets, it will give a hint of a grip (w/extension) in pocket.

The holster for LCP+CT from PocketHolsters appears very high quality and conceals the LCP w/CT perfectly. Still need to break it in - as it's currently near impossible to draw w/out holding holster w/Off Hand. But I'm sure after a few days, it'll loosen up - remember something similar with my Bianchi Prof 100 holster for G26. My only negative I see thus far is that the leather pocketholster is heavier & thicker than I'd prefer. The thick leather appears to offer years & years of daily use, but come at a cost of weight & bulk. Overall though, I'm quite pleased with it for the few hours that we bonded last night & this morning!

Thanks austinrealtor for your recommendation on this holster & site. Found reference to this site & your experiences with holster from doing board search. Thanks TexasCHLForum for also a quick & accurate search option (w/highlights).

A Couple picture of PocketHolster (from site & LCP version w/out CT) are as follows (2nd not LCP, but shows key feature of holster):

You're very welcome on the recommendation.

For what it's worth, I've found it helps to use one of your grip fingers to "push off" on the portion of the holster below your fingers when you draw. I think that's why that portion is there and reinforced.

Also, FYI, I have ended up doing away with the large leather anti-print panel in favor of some smaller plastic panels I installed myself. Will post photos sometime when I get around to it. Still tweaking my ideas for this, but so far so good. Makes it easier for me to grip the gun in pocket, and also makes the holster ambidextrous - important because I occassionally carry LCP in my left front pocket as a backup when I have a larger gun on my belt at 3:30 position.
