Ammo shortage conspiracy or are we just in a buying frenzy?

Wal Mart, if it's a benchmark of availability, is no doubt getting more ammo in. The bare shelves that had only Federal in 40 cal a few months ago, are now filling up with a couple of types of 9mm and the occasional 38 Special and 45. 9mm especially, which a while ago was pure luck if it was there, is now seemingly available in the Wal Marts I wonder into.

The local Academy was short a few things a few month ago, but they are well stocked now. I have noticed that 223 is staying on the shelf now where it would be gone quick a year ago.

I am not noticing any shortages right now.

I am finding it a little easier now at Wally and Academy as well. .380 is still an endangered species though.
