I'm trying to find NASA in the constitution, can y'all help me with that? Once we get that settled, there are a couple of other things I'd like some help with; e.g., IRS, FBI, NISC, NSC, TVA, USACE, Barney Franks, POTUS' citizenship requirements, IRAQ, Nancy Pelosi, ad infinitum et nauseum.
IANACL; however, The Constitution is kinda' like the Bible, IMHO. We either accept it or we don't. We don't get to pick and choose which verses we like and which we don't.
Just sayin'...

Speaking only for myself, I believe all the Constitutional violations should be repealed.Oldgringo wrote:IANACL; however, The Constitution is kinda' like the Bible, IMHO. We either accept it or we don't. We don't get to pick and choose which verses we like and which we don't.
In the meantime, it's reasonable to oppose additional unconstitutional laws even though many unconstitutional laws already exist, just as it's reasonable to try to prevent yourself and your family from being murdered even though many people have already been murdered throughout history.
Indeed. However, I believe forum rules prevent an honest discussion of how Washington and Jefferson might have dealt with the current (and previous) administration, so I'll leave it at that.Oldgringo wrote:Just sayin'...

Seriously, in a few more years, why couldn't the government simply use our Mosque Entry ID's. We'll all have one soon enough.

... Yea, Revelation...I'm thinking everyone should be required to have a barcode tatted on their forehead or maybe if you are not into tats it could be on the palm of your hand. Umm, did I read about that somewhere?
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... (Jefferson quoting Beccaria)
... tyrants accomplish their purposes ...by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms. - Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, 1840
