Packing in the pulpit

Post by wgoforth »

I was guest speaker at a church in another city for a week... 9 lessons in 4 day period, whew. Anyway, the church advertised my topics in the newspaper. The last night I was to speak on "The Religion of Islam." The local preacher received a phone call from a lady in the community about the lesson, wanted to know more and what should she wear. He asked me if I was going to be carrying that night. I told him I do 24/7. He said "good" and that the american woman who was arrested as a jihad mom up in PA had come from this town, and that she had visited this church before. Nothing came of it, but he was concerned and just thought it sad that was even anything to have to be concerned with... and made to feel glad that I was even asked to carry (not that I have to be asked mind you).
