NRA Classes help please

Post by tauruspt145 »

I am looking to take Basic pistol shooting, basic personal protection in the home, then take the instructor courses that correspond with these. Does anybody know anybody doing them sooner than later? i am off every friday ,saturday and sunday. I was looking online and it was showing some big gaps in times between classes. I am new to the process but would like to teach new shooters how to be safe any help would be appreciated.

The link will help you find the courses you are interested in. Is this what you are asking for?

If you're willing to become a member of PSC, I know they have fairly regularly scheduled classes on these topics. Check out http://www.psc.com and look under the calendar link. PSC is a great shooting club that's well worth the annual dues. A lot of the members of this forum are also members.

It is an exercise in patience to get all the certifications to teach more than one NRA course. The majority of NRA training counselors do it part time and you just have to get the class when you can. I'm still working on obtaining all the certifications I want. Good luck. :thumbs2:

I don't believe you have to join PSC to take Marc's classes. You can PM him (TraCoun) here or contact him through his web site at ( http://www.argenttraining.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) to find out.

Larry, thanks for that info. I stand corrected.
