Mine was approved on Friday - still no plastic yet, but others showed that they had theirs within 3 days, so maybe you will have yours by Friday!

Congrats on your license.
For a good belt you should also check out the 5.11 belt. Many of us here use it and it's pretty good for the money.

For leather, I wear a 1-1/2" Double Thick Belt from D.M. Bullard ($64.95). Dave Bullard does pretty good work, but any of the custom holster makers can do you a good belt in the same rough price range.

Welcome to the forum sir. Glad to have you.
With your LCP, you might just have the same gun
as Governor Rick. (See the "wily coyote" thread).

With that piece of hardware you should do a coyote jog instead of a Wally Walk.texjames wrote:yeah i will need to do the Wally walk...I better start wearing the mini tuck again without the pistol in it.

I just got a Cross Breed belt 1 1/2" ($59.50) and love it. I especially like the "saddle cinch" buckle, very heavy duty. All American Made. The Annoyed Man wrote:WildBill wrote:You sure do!texjames wrote:I need a new belt too...any suggestions?Congratulations on getting your plastic. for the Wilderness Instructor belt ($39.95) if you want a synthetic material. Rugged and well-made. I wear mine frequently.

My partner just got the same news.
He's stoked!
I'm just glad that if we hang out outside of work I know I'll have back up if the we're ever in a bad situation.

Just for grins, I went with the Uncle Mike's version of the Wilderness... $15 less and very well constructed. The Annoyed Man wrote:In fabric, I prefer the Wilderness Instructor belt.
