Question for 1911 owners

Not really a bad thing, because now you can send the slide to Novak and have them cut properly. The RIA Tactical uses non-standard cuts (at least on the front sight), making it a bear to replace them later should you want to.

Checked the Novak website and they don't even have Armascor/Rock Island as one of the brand options they put sights on....

Will do. With better sights, this gun would be just about perfect in my book. No need for fancy grip checkering, bells or whistles here. It goes bang everytime i pull the trigger, is accurate, looks pretty, and just feels right in my hand. its a keeper!

This might be a good time to sing the virtues of 3" Kimber "summer gun" to your better half. After all, its purpose would be to make sure that she is always properly protected......
