Made an Anti see the light...

Post by E150GT »

Well, I was successful in my attempt to sway an anti-gun guy into a guy who owns a Beretta PX4 Storm! All it took was one trip to the range with my Taurus PT111 and he's hooked! I am rather proud of myself... :cheers2:

Good for you! :thumbs2: I have talked to people that say that want to go shoot. I even offered to pay for the range time, ammo and of course, they will use my guns. So far none of my girlie friends have shown up. I keep telling them, get your CHL so you can protect yourself. Guess spending 2 hours outside in a loud place isn't as appealing to them as it is to me.

Great Job E150GT! The best thing we can do is increase the number of sport shooters and license holders.

I have been trying to convenience my wife and her sister to get their CHLs using the same argument. I have taken my wife to the range enough that she seems to actually enjoy shooting now. She and her sister are very close so I think if they would get their CHLs together, they might be more likely to do it. Both of them are overly trusting and don't believe anything will ever happen, so it is hard to get them to embrace the idea of carrying a weapon. I'll keep working on 'em, but if you figure out the secret, let me know.

Awesome!! Px4 is a great pistol.........he can get tons of info on it at http://www.berettaforum.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Congrats on the sway to the good side, sadly, too many out there are dead-set anti's. I had asked a buddy the other day why he didn't own a firearm (he knows my history with them) and his reply was "I have YOU".........Lame. I explained some thingd to him and he ended it all by saying "They're not for me". Guess that kinda ends it there but glad you got yours to see the light!!!

Great work!

A fun time at the range works better than all the crime statistics and reasoned arguments in the world.

Nice job..... I have found that most of the so called "Anti's" are not at all. They just have a lack of knowledge and read what the papers print as gospel.... If they are educated in a slow and gentle way they tend to come around, what hurts our cause in when they are insulted regarding their initial thoughts.... time and patience.... and a cool looking handgun (please none of those hand cannons) can do wonders.....

This guy got a few boxes of ammo and a range fee out of me. It was worth it.

Not only did my wife decide to get her chl after shooting with me; she gave me permission, errr, I made the command decision to buy a .380 for each of us.

If I claim to be anti-gun, does that mean I can get free range time and free ammo?
I'll even bring my own guns... oops... I mean I'll have to use your guns as... umm... I don't have any? Yeah... that's it...
