I got the same flyer today. Here's my problem with Bass Pro's gun prices: that LCP just doesn't look like a deal to me. The last time I saw one for over $325, it came with the case and a spare mag, IIRC. What are y'all seeing for a 'decent' LCP price these days? I'm (finally) in the market for one (well, Mrs. Irons is), and after hearing a bunch of folks say they got theirs for under $300, I'm not too motivated to head over to BPS next week.
Demand may be up to the point that this is a good price, but I haven't looked seriously in several months.

You would think the market for 380's was in the tank due to the difficulties in finding ammunition for it.
My experience recently is that 9mm is pretty easy to get these days (and the price has gone way up at Wally World) but 380 seems to be even harder to find.
I was told that 380 and 9mm use the same manufacturing rigs and that ammunition manufacturers are concentrating on 9mm due to the overseas demand to support the 'push'.

Guns are like parachutes, if your ever in a situation that you need one and you dont have one, you'll probably never need one again.

Several aforementioned listed prices don't seem like "a deal".UpTheIrons wrote:surprise_i'm_armed wrote:In the mail today I received the Bass Pro "Father's Day Sale" flyer.

For anyone who would not mind a used LCP:
Cash America Pawn, Business 121, opposite Burger King,
in Lewisville, Denton County, has one for $279.99.
Usually that shop has about a dozen or 20 handguns at a time
that are priced at retail or higher.
But that LCP seemed to be kind of a good deal for someone
that wants one.

Bass Pro and Cabelas are over priced even when they are having a so called "sale". They have a lot of guns to fondle and check for fit which is a plus, buying from them IMO is another story....

But sometimes you can find a steal. I'm still convinced Cabela's mis-priced my Kimber Custom II with night sights. $650 for a year old gun seemed a little low, but I wasn't going to ask to pay more.
ETA: clarified where I bought my gun.
