Re: UK Shooting
This is obviously a lie fabricated by the media since there are no gun crimes in countries where gun ownership is tightly controlled. This would mean that a criminal didn't obey the law, it is common knowledge that criminals follow the same laws the rest of society does.

It's the quiet ones you have to look out for... then again, it wouldn't surprise me if he was framed. Maybe I've just seen Collateral one too many times."I can't believe he would do that — he was a quiet little fellow."

Re: UK Shooting
It is quite a relief that guns are pretty-much banned in the UK. Otherwise, this might have really happened.

It's also a good thing that none of the victims or bystanders was armed! I mean, the gunman could have been stopped BEFORE he finished his rampage.Purplehood wrote:It is quite a relief that guns are pretty-much banned in the UK. Otherwise, this might have really happened.
Sounds like the "authorities" arrived just in time to cover the bodies...

Re: UK Shooting
That's impossible. Guns are banned in the UK. I don't believe this story for a minute.

Well at least he did not beat them to death with a club.
The last person that did that was tried and convicted.

No, if any of his victims had been armed, he simply would have taken their guns away from them and used them in his rampage instead.7075-T7 wrote:It's also a good thing that none of the victims or bystanders was armed! Prayers ascend for the victims and families...

Without getting too technical, a shotgun is a weapon with a smooth bore that usually fires no more than two cartridges before reloading. In essence, it is the kind of long-barrelled weapon you would being carried by a farmer or gamekeeper. A firearm is any other kind of legal gun that fires bullets, including rifles.
The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere. -Thomas Jefferson
