I have to brag. Update

My son just called me. He finished his CHL class this evening. He was second in his class firing. Not bad considering he qualified with his 45 and everyone else qualified with 9mm.

Update 6-19-10
Found out last night that my grandson (oldest daughter’s son) is going to buy a handgun and get his CHL.

Family reunions should be pretty well covered from outside threats now.

Congrats, me and another former Marine both qualified with our .45's during our class and we had the two highest scores. .45's ROCK!!!

He has a good head on his shoulders and I am sure he will do well carrying. He served in the Air Force and I raised him to be a responsible person.

The main reason I am proud is that I bought him a Kimber and he has only been to the range with it three times.

My wife and I travel to South Texas fairly often and we go fishing etc. with him, our daughter-in-law and two grandsons. I have a Kimber and I suppose that now if any one tries to harm us they would be in for a nasty surprise.
