This showed up in my Facebook stream. It doesn't look like its been posted here and I'm a lot more interested in what this community has to say than my Facebook crowd.

There are several reasons to not like Kagan. The problem is, there will be several reasons to not like anyone Obama likes. So is she gets jettisoned, will the next one be worse? I dunno.

I think just the title of the article itself is enough. No substantial proof, but rather muckraking on the part of the individuals responsible for such an article. Sure it's probable that is Kagan's handwriting, but honestly who cares?

The only comparison I can see from reading the documents is that the decision is purely political in nature, her views are not aligned with either group; Kagan believes that neither the NRA nor the KKK are worthy of tax exemptions, don't lose sight of the point of those memos.

Then, after you sift through the nonsense in that article you again arrive at the conclusion: so what? Everybody knows most Democrats don't like the NRA anyway.

I didn't read the links initially. I have now. I stand by my initial comments. Now kindly explain to me what I exactly am supposed to see that is a dreadful indictment on Kagan?

Kagan + Nominated by Obama = Bad Idea

I sucked in Algebra, but the equation is not necessarily true. The result might be, but the methodology is fallacious.
