I know I planned to buy an XDm-45 when I got my new computer built, but things change. But I have to do something when my gun dealer calls me up and says "I just got a 45 XDm in, I've got a 4473 and your name on the gun." I take off work, look at it, and walk out owning it. Now the Kimbers and the XDm-40 will have to make room in the safe for it. I really think my gun dealer thinks he's a drug dealer.

Congrats! Those are beautiful! I have been a long time owner of XDs and they are awesome weapons.

It shoots well, but the trigger is not quite as nice as I would like. I do have to say that I will upgrade the trigger, and it appears to use the same guide rod as the 9 and 40 versions of the XDm.
