New Pistol/Trouble Finding IWB

Post by Carry-a-Kimber »

I had been looking to get a new pistol for a while. I wanted something not everyone had, something in a caliber I already shoot plenty of, and something that is fun to shoot. I finally found something that fit all my criteria and was relatively inexpensive. Well, I recieved it yesterday and put some new furniture on it, but lo and behold I can not find an IWB holster for it anywhere. I have cheked several websites, MTAC, CB, Galco, etc. and even talked to a guy that does custom work, but none seem to make an IWB or think one will work. I guess I will have to OWB this one, maybe wait til it gets a little cooler, and buy a longer coat.

It's a Draco AK-47 Pistol imported by Century Arms. I took off the wood fore grips and replaced them with a Midwest Industries FDE Quad Rail and the black plastic pistol grip was removed in favor of a Hogue Monogrip in FDE. I threw on a Troy Industries single point sling until I can find a decent holster.

Wow, what a pistol! If you used a IWB holster, your pants would fall down around your ankles when you pulled it out!!
Jesus said, "And the one who has no sword must sell his cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36 NET) Also, Jesus said, "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own homestead, his possessions are undisturbed"(Luke 11:21 NAS)
