TAURUS PT 111 extended magazine

just a FYI for those that carry a Pt111,
Yesterday while removing the spare magazine for my pt11 from the safe, I accidentally grabbed the magazine for the taurus 24/7 pro and figured out that you can use the 24/7 9MM mag in the pt111. they are physically the same dimensions except for the length to acommidate the extra 5 rounds. all of the notches are in the same locations so it locks in the gun exactly the same.

did you actually go to the range and shoot with it? or just tested the locking and release mechanism?

I havent shot it yet, but I am 100% certain it will work.

just a follow-up post to say that I went to the range today and confirmed the magazine would function properly by firing 67 rounds with it and it worked as good as the original. just looked a little weird with the extra inch extending out of the bottom. someone needs to make a sleeve for it.
