I called them today. The new store will open late next week and the gun range in August!!!!

Yes, I saw the article and read it. The focus was on how strip centers are changing in profile of store types. They mentioned of course what they felt was controversial having a gun store and range in a strip center where you find the "STANDARD" fair of stores. They discussed medical centers also as different. Now the media probably was looking for off handed remarks from those they interviewed about it but instead got no comment. What strikes me is while the media was looking to stir the pot I think, if you compare having a gun store or a medical facility in your strip center, which one do you think brings the bad element to the shopping center. Well if you watch the news, medical facilities and such bring robberies for getting the drugs. No one in their right mind robs a gun store while they are open. Personally I feel safer shopping next to a gun store than a medical facility. My two cents but media won't buy that one.

But I do deal with the Arms Room and have had great experience with them. Right now they are in a bit of a wirl wind running the existing store and trying to open the new one. I suspect once the dust settles it will be really good there.

my friend lives just down the road and sent me a picture the other day. I'm definitely gonna be stopping in to check things out once they are open.
