She reached the second level!

Post by OldSchool »

DynaBlue just finished qualifying for NRA Pro- and Marksman! :fire
She can now take out any paper plates you care to choose. :evil2:

Heat finally caused us to shut it down at that point, or we would have worked up a real fear among those D2 targets.

Even better, Sergeant #1 came out with us and had fun with our .45's.

Congratulations.
Heat finally caused us to shut it down...
If this is a preview of what happens to the unrighteous, it's a good incentive to straighten up and fly right. I came home from a quick trip to Randall's in an air-conditioned car and had to wring my shirt out (hauling in the groceries did it).

We need some rain to cool things down. Oh, wait. That's another thread.

We're looking forward to achieving those levels, but we hope we bought enough targets to last us until we get there....

Just think of the heat as stress testing...
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... (Jefferson quoting Beccaria)

... tyrants accomplish their purposes ...by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms. - Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, 1840

Update

Post by OldSchool »

DynaBlue completed Markman First Class Monday.

Since she was already shooting rapid fire for that one (I'm a baaaaaaaaaaaaad influence... :evil2: ), I think she's a shoo-in for Expert.

That's the same day she was hitting bullseyes her first time with an AR.... :eek6
(She keeps reminding me....)
