Wondering if that LE officer would give the same advise to his female, family members ??

If tha' BG gets the jump on you, hopefully you'll live thru the ordeal ... but, I tell my female, family members ...fight, do something early, cause some damage and then try and run, while your screaming !

These dirt bags, will rot in

Police Identify Alleged Intruder Shot And Killed In Tulsa Apartment

This type of home invasion aggravated with the threat of rape is one of my most feared scenarios for my female family members! I have no doubt that this situation would have turned out much differently had the woman not had a gun and the obvious training to use it! Now matter how these young men ended up thinking that robbing and raping a seemingly defenseless woman was the right thing, not to mention the easiest, I feel that they received exactly what they deserved!!

Yes, I agree completely as well. No one is saying otherwise.

In fact, it really doesn't matter how old she is..........however, I have not seen any reason to assume her age based on any news related articles I've read about this incident unless some new information has been released. My observation from the beginning was......how do we know this was an Old Lady???

Near the end the police officer being questioned by the reporter says: it's better to comply with the requests of the bad guys and then be a good witness and let the police handle things. I wonder if he knew the bad guys had ordered her to take off her clothes?

Given what we know about the situation, I think she did the right thing! Regards, OE
:iagree: It seems like the reporter is leading the LEO's response.
It is truly scary to contemplate that there are cops out there advising people to "comply with the requests of bad guys." And I note the use of the word "requests" instead of "demands." Oh, those polite young gentlemen just made some "requests."
:iagree: Yes, could you please make us a cup of tea while we wait for the police?

In one of the latest videos, an LEO very clearly said that she did the right thing.

I'm sure there are a lot of LEO's who would agree that she did too. I think the remark that victims should "comply with the requests of bad guys" is indicative of the effect of what is now about three decades of unrelenting media conditioning that guns and self-defense are bad (although the liberals don't really seem to have a problem with thugs having guns, since in just about every movie and TV show guns are romanticized when they're used by criminals, and only seem to be denigrated when used by ordinary citizens attempting to defend themselves).

Unfortunately, while a good number of the rank-and-file may support traditional concepts of self-defense, I fear that a good number of those in charge perceive their power and advancement as dependent on support for the liberal agenda of criminal empowerment and the delegitimization of self-defense --an agenda that has seen tremendous success in places like the UK, Canada, Australia, and the People's Republics of Massachusetts and California.

One of the stories said she came home from running an errand which isn't out of character for some elderly people who go to bed at 9 or 10pm. On the other hand, if she was out having fun at 4am without her boyfriend, it could change the story why the two men followed her home.

However, not knowing the extent of his head injury, he could spend the rest of his life representing his fellow criminals as a poster boy with a distant empty stare and drool running from his involuntarily open mouth.

I contacted Matt Barnard with Tulsa World who was present the morning of the incident doing interviews, here's what he said when I asked about the woman specific age:
Matt Barnard wrote:The police captain I talked with at the scene didn't have the woman's exact age but said she looked to be somewhere between 35 and 45.

If you have any more questions please let me know.
