Why not? I realize some people compare to huntsville, but really, life's normal activities are not suspended.

I think I was still carrying a revolver back when I got married, and it went with me everywhere.

As for whether the wife likes it or not... I suggest you get that settled right now. I got married a little bit later in life, and I had some firm ideas about what was and was not going to work. I came to Texas planning to acquire the following: house/land, pets, horse, CHL, and wife. In that order (then I had to be a resident 6 months to get the
CHL. If the wife candidate did not like any of those things, I figured we were not going to be compatible enough to get along. So far it works.

you never know what will happen or where it will happen. my girlfriend already knows that i dont go anywhere i cant take my guns and she's fine with that. she says i should just carry what i carry everyday since nobody is gonna see it, but then theres no reason to get a TRP .

If she throws a hissy fit or anything else for that matter, screams, cries, says it would ruin the wedding, or implies that she might be tempted to use it on you if she finds it on your wedding night, then I'd say that it would be riskier to ruin your bride's wedding day than to face it without a gun.
