USAammo
Has anyone ever purchased ammo from these people? It is remanufactured using once-shot brass casings. I've never shot reloads before and was just wondering what kind of reputation these guys have. They have some pretty decent prices on .45 ACP FMJ - $16.56 for 50 and $82.81 for 250. They also sell in quantities of 500 and 1000. Thanks in advance.

I regularly shoot with the owners of USAAmmo, so I know them pretty well. They are honest men. Their rounds are good quality. I haven't had any problems with their ammo, and I shoot it regularly.

Thanks for the response. I take it that from their telephone numbers these guys are in the Houston area? I'm surprised with more than 100 hits on this post there hasn't been any more opinions. They seem to have a quality product. I think I'll start out with a couple boxes of 50 and go from there.LittleGun wrote:I regularly shoot with the owners of USAAmmo, so I know them pretty well. One concern I have is ranges accepting this brand. I normally shoot at either Top Gun or Memorial Shooting Center. Both ranges only accept brass casings which is not a problem with USAammo but Top Gun says on their web site they do not accept commercial reloads. Seems kind of hypicritical considering they resell all the spent brass.

I buy my 38spl from Collins Cartridge Co. and shoot it frequently at Top Gun. Its all commercial reloads and they never raise an eyebrow.

I use “T’s” in Texas City. Never had a problem. A very small bit less in price. Good people to deal with.
