1911 fever

Post by slinco »

Picked up this Citadel 1911A1 today, needed something to share the load with my Kimber! Hopefully I will get to shoot it soon. It came with a set of OD Hogue grips as well but I like the wood better.

Why do they call it Tourist Season if ya can't shoot 'em?

It was about 550 out the door. 2 sets of grips and 2 mags.

Looks good. I have read several good reviews. Let us know how it shoots.

Took it out to the range today, she's a beauty. Accurate as can be, trigger seems a little light but I can live with that.
It ate ball ammo and hollowpoints with only one hiccup which was due to the Kimber mag, that magazine malfunctions in the Kimber as well.
Overall a very nice gun for the $500.00 range. Another trip or 2 to the range and I'll be carrying it. :anamatedbanana
