I missed something!

Post by chefkristian »

When I was younger (14 years ago, I am 34 now), I had a couple of traffic tickets that went to warrant that I was arrested for (stupid as a youngster, wiser and slower now... no tickets in the past 14 years). I listed them on my CHL app and just hand delivered them. The problem is, that I forgot to list one of them! I just came home and was putting my copies away and realized I forgot one! :banghead:

I don't know how I missed it in my application, I thought I went though everything I had... Will this only delay me or disqualify me?? I don't want to have wasted $140... because that would suck.

It was simple traffic violations.

Hi chief, welcome to the forum! Glad to have you with us! :tiphat:

No, you won't be disqualified for that. It may delay the processing, but if that's all you got, then I can only see a delay...maybe.

Since you hand delivered your application to DPS, can you simply hand deliver the additional paperwork? If you can, be sure to put on the copies your PIN or some other identifying numbers pertaining to your app.

Why don't you call them and visit with them about your discovery & what's the best course of action? That's what I'd do. ;-)

Thanks for the welcome.

I am sure there are some pretty silly things that people forget toput on their CHL app, I know that Class C offenses are not disqualifiers. I am just worried that forgetting to put the arrest part might hurt me...Delay I can handle... wasting $140 is a harder pill to swallow.

I will try to call them, but the last time I tried to call them, I had to wait 3 days for a call back.

Just checked online, status changed from nothing to everything recieved. Fingerprints under review, background under review... Not too bad, it's only been 2 week since I delivered the paperwork. :txflag:

Dear Sir,

In reviewing the Texas CHL Forum we see that you did not include a Class C Misdemeanor on your application. We have stopped processing on your license. Please....

Now that was cold, stone cold. "rlol"
