SKS M59 Yugo. ?

Post by .45mac.40 »

:tiphat:

I have a SKS, sitting behind tha' upstairs closet door, not being used much.
If you were me..would ya' list and sell it here, to one of your brothers on this forum ?
I'm not sure if I really want to sell it, but ..motorcycle $.. or (XD sc) pistol, would be nice !
Should I list it with all its little goodies ? :txflag:

Keep it. You won't get much for it and it just may come in handy some day. I have a Russian SKS, been sitting behind the door for over 20 years but I will never part with it.

I have a Russian too, but that's one of the few guns I have that I probably would part with. It shoots OK but my finger turns blue from trying to pull the trigger.

It might have been worth selling last year but now with AKs down to $300-400, I don't know how much you get for a SKS unless it has collector value.

Keep it.

Your not going to get much money for it now, but later on if you ever need to replace it, you will probably spend much more than what you get for it today.

If it is a Yugo model, have you changed the firing pin to one that has a spring with it? If not, I would suggest you spend a few bucks and do it.
Just remember shot placement is much more important with what you shoot than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.
