My goal tonight was to avoid embarassing myself and learn some real world techniques..................mission accomplished. While I have a long way to go, drills such as the ones tonight will go a long ways towards making me more competent in life and death situations. Thanks to fm2 for putting these sessions together and to the rest of the group for going easy on the new guy! Seems like a great group with lots of knowledge to share.

First time Tactical Shooting
Tonight I participated in my first tactical shooting practice at Best Shot in Friendswood. It was great to meet fm2, el gato, and silverbear ftf. Turns out I went to high school with fm2.

Hey, you did well, really well on the hostage taker !!!
I'm glad you had fun and got some practice in. We'll be at it again next Sunday evening.

I'll be in Pennsylvania this Sunday, so we won't be able to make it. I'll be looking forward to next week though.

Every Sunday at 5pm unless fm2 has other engagements. fm2 runs drawstroke, shooting drills, scenarios and tactics. It was great meeting canvasback. I love his avatar!
