What is the best IWB holster for a Sig P220R?
I just got my new Sig Sauer P220R yesterday and I was thinking of making it my new CCW. I know that the owner of the local gun store carries a P220. Does anyone know of a good IWB holster?

TT Gunleather makes great holsters although it is a long wait. I had them make one for my 220 with shark skin trim, then I received an offer for the gun that I could not refuse, still have the holster thinking maybe I will find another 220 that has my name on it. DM Bullard also makes very nice holsters with much less waiting time.

Sorry, we can't tell you. You must go through the expensive and time consuming trial and error experience the rest of us went through in finding an IWB holster! 
I found the crossbreed / mtac type holsters to be the best for my situation. I have one from "kwart" on glocktalk - his are fifty bucks shipped. I know he makes 1911 holsters, you may want to see if he does sigs. This design distributes the weight, the leather is comfortable against the body, and the kydex offers great retention and secure re-holstering.

I cant help you with that gun or a holster really. Holsters are pretty much like guns. What works for me may not work for you.
However, CompTac makes a really good holster M-TAC. I have one and love it for my XD. If you do a search for wildscar, look at his signature line, he did a review on it and that will give you some really good info.
