My Step-Father

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

My Step-Father

Post by Teamless »

My Step-Father has been sick for a few years.
About a month ago, we were told that he would have about 6 months left. An obvious guess, as no one really knows.
A week ago, we were told that it will most likely be a matter of 4-6 week
This morning we were told that he may not last until tomorrow.

As the end is obviously near, and I cannot tell you what all he has wrong, so other than a miracle, his end is already a foregone conclusion.

So I am not asking for a prayer for his recovery, while I would like that to happen, I am asking for a prayer that he goes quickly and as a painless as possible. Let his suffering end.

Thank you in advance. While I will not be reading your replies as I will obviously be away for a while, they are appreciated.

Your family must be reeling from such a sudden loss! What a blessing that your last prayers for him were answered and he was able to die a peaceful and honorable death. May the Lord accept him into His kingdom! My prayers are with you and your family.

Prayers for you and your family in your time of grieving. You can take solace in knowing he has moved on to a much better place where he is no longer in pain and made whole again.
