electroless/electro plating your gun

Post by jtran987 »

well i have been debating on buying a hk p7 psp, which now i have finally decided yes i do want to buy one, but im not a huge fan of keeping it as a blue gun, ive been playing with the idea of stripping it down and getting it plated in a matte nickel finish. so ive found alot of places that will plate you gun for around 200 -300 dollars, but i have also found kits that are a do it yourself type stuff that you can do at home specifically from caswell, just asking if anyone has had any experience with the kit or another do it yourself way, or if anyone has a good recommendation for a plating service

thanks in advance! :tiphat:

Here is a good thread on M4carbine.net on using the Caswell kit at home, with pics and everything.
