Had to get another P3AT

Post by dtalley »

Story goes, My wife got her CHL. I asked what she wanted to carry? She said that cute one in your back pocket. We went to the range and she ran a box of cartridges through it, then loaded it with HPs put it back in the homemade pocket holster I had and dropped it in her purse. She then said "this one will be fine." I normally carry a Kimber SS Ultra II but during the summer it is a little awkward for me. I purchased a Smith 642 and like it alot. But when not in shorts I'm in Jeans and it is just not right with me. I went to the gun store today and was looking at the Kahr P380. WOW I like it alot and I do mean alot. it was around $550. I look at the several others and was really leaning towards the Ruger LCP. Finally I figured since I have owned 2 other P3AT's (one stolen by theif in the night and other one by wife) and really liked them and still had 4 spare mags for one I went with the KelTec. I need to make another pocket holster but that's not a problem. The only thing I wasn't real happy about was that it is green  . I may try and trade it with the wife but I can probably get over it. Got to get to the range this weekend and run it out... Oh they also has Am. Eagle 380 FMJ ammo for $18.50 a box I was pretty happy about that also.

Pick her up a green purse that matches it,and you won't have to try as hard...she'll want to have the green one.
I actually did just the opposite. I inherited her regular blued LCP after she saw and fell in love with the raspberry frame LCP.

Here's a better pic of it:

She really likes it, and the fact that it's not "PINK", but a darker color suits her better.

Odds are, it isn't likely to be stolen either
