Post by Boma »

Any places in Houston that sell them? I would like to try them on before buying.

I'm not real sure of any places that sell gun belts besides Carter's Country, but I went to Ross and found a good thick 1 1/2" belt for pretty cheap.

Collectors Firearms has a good selection of Galco leather holsters but I do not remember seeing any belts. My guess is you will have to order from the internet. I bought mine from Dillon a few years back and have been very pleased with it. I have never had any luck with retail store belts holding up to the weigh of a pistol.

I have seen belts at Collectors and also at Top Gun. Suggest you call to ensure the have some in stock. Top gun also sells belts similar to the Wilderness belt (I made by think by Blackhawk?)

Top Gun sells them and Hoffner's (http://www.hoffners.com) will make one for you. His shop is adjacent to Top Gun.

I was in Collectors on Friday and they had plenty of belts. They are over by the holsters.

However, it's probably a place that you would go and find the type of belt you want and then order it on the internet. Their prices are HIGH!!

I was in there twice on Friday.

I agree go there and see what you want/like and then order online unless you just have to have it now.
