I almost overlooked this article:
http://www.kwkt.com/news/victim-describ ... university" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
"Police say they are still searching for a man that robbed a Baylor student. ... a man armed with an assault rifle ran up the stairs"
Actually it occurred "near" the University, at apartments where students live. So, I didn't put it in "Campus Carry" section below.
There is also a very valid argument for allowing campus carry for attractive young women walking home or to their car after classes alone at night ...

Re: Baylor student robbed at gunpoint
Those apartments are actually owned by the university... they bought all the land in that vicinity in 2006, just after I graduated from Baylor. "Brothers Management" is a front corporation for BU to manage properties as they slowly incorporate it into their facilities. All this, of course, means that the magical Gun Free Zone Force Field© must've malfunctioned that day!
