Help with IWB holster

I am looking for a IWB holster that could accomodate my Glock 22 and maybe another more compact Glock .40 cal that I forsee in my future. I have spent too many hours in the gym and had a shoulder surgery. My ability to reach to the 4 or 5 o'clock position is variable on given days. I have big shoulders so finding a nice big draping shirt is very possilbe. I was hoping I might get suggestions about a holster and belt that I might be able to use at 10 o'clock position and 4 to 5 o'clock position. Also, a holster that would be useable for my current and future Glocks.

I agree that the Supertuck is a good option. Mine is used for both my G23C & G27, worn at 4:00. It would require some changes to the setup to move from there to 10:00. Simple to do, but it will consume a few minutes each time.

The Supertuck is a great holster. I bought mine for my 1911, and loved it. When I sold my 1911, I used a heat gun to heat the kydex and re-molded it for my XD40. It is comfortable to the point that you dont even feel it after a few minutes. I also bought the Crossbreed belt, and am very pleased with it as well.

Clearly the supertuck and the C-Tac are two of the better IWB holsters out there. I have a supertuck for a G19 and it works great at 4:00. However if I was going to wear at 10:00 I think I would look at both models closely. The vertical length would be of concern when I sat down. Both are great products though.

I've had a Supertuck for a couple of years and find it very comfortable. In fact, the wife and I came home after having supper the other night. I headed to the bedroom to change clothes. I looked on the nightstand where my EDC stays and it wasn't there. I thought to myself, I wonder where she put my gun, knowing that some of the grandkids may be visiting soon. When I untucked my shirt, I realized I was and had been wearing the Supertuck and PT145 all evening. It really is that comfortable! I haven't got the Crossbreed belt yet, maybe Santa will be good to me this year!

My Glocks ride in:

Mostly I wear Comfort Carry from Durham Concealed Technologies (uses ANY Com-Tac clips, I use the Velcro clips on Sunday) great Fall, Winter, Spring Holster, and it's horsehide backed, leather top, so it's a little stiffer at first than a Comp-Tac, Tucker The Answer, or Crossbreed, but it's very well made, and great after it conforms to your body. (It's actually a great Summer holster too, no sweat gets through it)

Also, "Mostly" I also use a Desantis Tuck This 2, and added sticky-back Velcro hook side on the J-clip which goes UNDER the belt and it hooks under the belt,(so no one notices clips) I wear it a LOT with the same belt in various positions, with it's adjustable cant. I wear this almost daily. It has an elastic spare mag pouch which helps "round out" the area under the belt instead of a space between me and my pants in front of the gun's slide. I like having an extra mag handy, In the mag carrier I keep a Glock 17 mag with a Pearce GP-36 extension for a total of an extra 20 rounds. (The taller mag also is easily accessible if I put it at an extreme cant with my Baby Glock 26) It adjusts from forward to reverse cant, so it can be used cross draw, Small of the back, or strong side or anywhere.

There are 2 "mostlys" because often I wear the 26 in one, and 19 in the other.

I also wear a Kholster, real comfortable, not quite as versatile, added Velcro sticky-back loops on the clips and wear the clips under my belt instead of over. Mostly I just wear it when I go fishing, (I don't like metal clips on my belt which can scratch my belt, but it is comfortable).

I have several suitcases of other holsters too, but those are the 3 I actually use the most for my Glock 26 and Glock 19.

I have a C-tac Minotaur holster for my glock 23, which I carry somewhere between 4 and 5 o'clock but depends on what I'm wearing. It took me a couple of hours and clothing changes to get the right cant and rise, but I have no complaints so far. I didn't go with the crossbreed supertuck for a few reasons, one being I can change bodies if I buy other guns and two I liked the retention system on the mtac. So far I think it's very comfortable and it's Texas made so that's got to say something. It's been awhile since I went to a full size gun even though the g23 says its compact, I am used to pocket guns like my naa .22 and my ruger lcp.

You may also take a look at the appendix carry holsters. They are easy to reach if you have shoulder mobility challenges.
